Rosa 'Eden' | Climbing Eden Rose
DESCRIPTION
Rosa ‘Eden’ is a climbing shrub rose with large, old-fashioned cupped blooms that transition from creamy ivory to soft pink with deeper rose centers. Flowers emerge in abundant flushes from late spring through early fall, carried on strong, arching canes above glossy dark green foliage. Each blossom holds a delicate, light fragrance and often bows under its dense blooms, creating romantic cascades. As blooms fade, subtle rose hips may appear, adding soft autumn texture while pollinators frequently visit the floral display.
Bred by Marie‑Louise Meilland in France and introduced in 1985 under the name ‘Pierre de Ronsard’, this rose earned the World Federation of Rose Societies’ “World’s Favorite Rose” title in 2006 and entry into the Rose Hall of Fame. Its reliable reblooming, graceful form, and timeless charm make it a cherished choice for arbors, walls, or garden focal points.
